The first Long Pole set you will learn is from the Wu family. Any of these three options will work great.
The skinless version will feel the most loose.
The tiger version is burned and has had a clear finish applied. Burning will make it slightly more durable, as does the finish.
The skinned version will require a little effort to finish, as it is a natural item. You will want to sand down the area where each section is formed. Leaving the skin makes for a very strong weapon.
